It is with a great deal of sadness that we heard on Sunday that our dear friend and former lead singer of Rimshot Noel Bernardi passed away. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family. We had some great times in the studio and he was a very hospitable and helpful brother to many people. We look forward to seeing him again in his resurrection back to a perfect paradise when the opportunity to make music will be endless.

We remember Noel with the song that he did so well on our SAME PLACE TWICE album from 1991 "They Don't Play No Rock and Roll" - LAS

"A Little Bit Of Lazy Sunshine" - featuring Rod and Margaret Webb of Chelsea Two - and Licence (Lyle Stacpoole, Peter Higgins and Ian Carpenter)

This song about the Sunshine Coast was recorded in early 1982 and released on vinyl (flip side 'Desiree' sung by Rod Webb)
The song recieved some exposure on radio and television with 'Desiree' being chosen by a local Nambour DJ in a featured 'Top 50' Sunday Evening Special. It also freatured Peter StLeger on saxophone and was recorded at Multi-Media Studios in Brisbane with Phil Wakeling as engineer.
