Questions about Lyle Stacpoole and Stacpoole Music and Internet
What Qualifications do you have to teach music?
Lyle has been studying music theory since the age of 16 when his cousin introduced him to music notation. He was soon writing his own charts for his original songs and gained a reputation for entering the music studio well equipped for the studio musicians employed for the projects. Lyle then completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of New England at Armidale, New South Wales, majoring in Music and in Communications Studies, while displaying a strong knowledge of music theory.
Nevertheless it was way back in 1977, soon after first starting to learn music the way his cousin had taught it that he embarked on a simple to follow course of learning music as a language.

Who are Licence?
Licence is an aptly named identity of whoever works with Lyle Stacpoole as a group. A little like 'poetics licence' the name takes the liberty of meaning whatever it needs to mean at any given time and representing whoever is 'the group'!

How long have you been building websites
I put my first 'music' website online way back in 1996 very soon after the commercial internet was 'released'. The reason for this was from a interview I had with Ross Williams, ex CBS Artists and Repertoire Manager who in 1990 told me of this 'wonderful new opportunity' for me to market my music.
After a few years experimenting and then going to Uni for a BA in Music and Communications Studies which including a few units on the new www as well as a seminar on website online marketing i decided to take it on as a new career move as my building future was bleak.
